THE FOOD INGREDIENTS USED IN THE INDUSTRIALIZED CHOCOLATES
In 2022, Instituto de Tecnologia de Alimentos (Ital) and Associação Brasileira da Indústria de Chocolates, Amendoim e Balas (Abicab), conducted data collection on the information stated in the labels of 483 industrialized chocolates, from 39 different industries. In this study, we have identified the ingredients present in the industrialized chocolates, classified in the study as common food raw materials, food raw materials for industrial use, additives and low calories sweeteners (sweeteners):
